EXHIBITION NUBBEN
LARS GUNNAR NORDSTRÖM
The Nubben exhibition is part of EMMA’s (Espoo Museum of Modern Art) series of classics presenting the work of the great names of Finnish Modernism.
In this project we worked as an Exhibit designer for the artist Lars Gunnar Nordström. We had known and studied his art to understand the goal of the project; Nordström is particularly known for his geometric paintings, in which angular and curved flat colour fields form clear, strong, dynamic compositions. His production consists mainly of graphic prints, paintings and sculptures. We created special furniture according with the exhibition and to his art works, and developed a Magnetic game for children as a way to learn easily and to make known the artworks of this artist.
This project was developed during my internship at the Studio Suppanen in Helsinki, Finland.
